Business Acumen: Devnet takes Fast Track

Brisbane-baseBrisbane-based marketing technology company Devnet has been named South East Queensland's number one internet company in the 2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 50.

Devnet, whose revenue has grown by 272 percent in the past three years, specialises in web-based applications and online integrated marketing solutions.  The company secured the top spot along with the position of fourth fastest growing technology company in Queensland and 28th fastest growing technology company in Australia.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranks the fastest growing technology companies, public or private, based on percentage growth over three years (2004-2006).

Devnet's managing director and joint founder Craig Deveson said the secret to his company's rapid growth was the combination of innovative applications, sales and marketing experience and Queensland's competitive technology market.

"Competition in strong in Queensland and our success is a result of exceptional customer service, a focus towards providing solutions the market demands and understanding that technology by itself doesn't solve business problems."  Mr Deveson said.
