Google Maps - Free and Enterprise

Google Maps comes in a free version and a licensed model. The free version of maps lets you embed Google Maps within your own website and includes the ability to manipulate them through adding content. However, it is restricted in use as you cannot use it where customers are either charged or restricted in accessing the maps (such as being required to register to the website).

The licensed model, Google Maps for Enterprise, allows you to remove all restrictions placed on the free model, including removing Google's Advertising and being able to use the maps within your own private applications and restricted areas on your website.
